Service Agreements and Policies

Thank you for choosing Bird's Eye View Media. To ensure a safe and successful project, please review our standard operating policies below. By booking a service, you agree to these terms.

1. Weather & Safety Policy

Drone operations are strictly dependent on weather conditions. We cannot fly in high winds, rain, snow, or low visibility.

Cancellations: If we determine that weather conditions are unsafe on the day of your shoot, we will reschedule your appointment at the earliest available time at no additional cost.

Pilot Authority: The Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) has the final authority to cancel or pause operations if safety is compromised.

2. FAA Regulations & Airspace

All flights are conducted by an FAA Part 107 Certified Pilot and adhere to all federal airspace regulations.

Restricted Areas: We cannot fly in restricted airspace (No-Fly Zones), over non-participating crowds, or near emergency response efforts without a specific waiver.

Legal Compliance: If your requested location is in a restricted zone that we cannot legally unlock, we will inform you immediately and offer an alternative solution or a full refund of your deposit.

3. Payment, Deposits & Cancellations

Real Estate: Full payment is due upon booking or prior to the delivery of final media.

Weddings/Events: A non-refundable deposit (booking fee) is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event.

Client Cancellations: Appointments cancelled by the client with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the deposit.

4. Copyright & Usage Rights

Ownership: Bird's Eye View Media retains the copyright to all original images and video footage.

Your License: Upon final payment, the client is granted a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the media for marketing (MLS, social media, print) and personal use.

Third Parties: You may not sell, lease, or give the media to third parties (such as other vendors, builders, or stock agencies) without our written permission.

5. Delivery Timeline

Real Estate: Photos are delivered within 24 hours of the shoot. Video add-ons may require up to 48 hours.

Weddings/Events: Highlight reels and photo galleries are typically delivered within 2–4 weeks, depending on the scope of the project.
